Spring Speaks French

Hello, Spring!

The first day of spring is only a week away, so, in celebration, I went outside in jeans and a sweatshirt and shot some photos under the warm sun. There’s nothing like a photo excursion on a sunny day! Au revoir!

Thanks, everyone! Matt, I agree… the sun had been in hiding for far too long!

Michele… I like to keep the original integrity of the photographs intact, so I try not to mess with them too much. Still, it’s always tempting to add a little flair, and Photoshop just makes it so easy!

I almost always use Auto Levels. The only time I don’t is when it messes up the color too much. I also use Auto Color quite often, though sometimes it looks nice when photos have a slight color cast. I also like to up the contrast of some of my photographs to give them a little more of an “edge,” but then I’ll use a soft focus to give images a smooth, almost velvety look.
