Well, folks, here it is. Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you of such a drastic change… “Expect experimentations, trials and errors, and, as the title states, a little bit of evolution.”
Each entry will consist of a short paragraph right here, and then a photograph to the right. Comments are still available, and can be made in regards to this text or the photo itself.
I truly hope that all of you enjoy the new site. I know I do. And, as everyone knows, when someone enjoys what they’re doing, it shows. Cheers!

I have visited your site occassionally for the past six months and I have to say that this is a great redesign. Good choice for your first photo as well.
Bravo Adam!

I hate to say this, but IMO the old site was easily one of the best design on the net! It shall be sorely missed :(
Patrick 5/3/04 13h
Wow… change. Looks nice, though.

Hey Adam,
http://www.adampolselli.com/colophon.php
What’s the picture at the top of that page all about?
Adam Polselli 5/3/04 15h
Thanks to those that like the new design, and sorry to those that miss the old one. I’ll admit… I miss it too. But it was too dependent on being filled with lots of content, something that I no longer had time to do. I am far more excited about this type of blog, and finally look forward to logging in and creating new entries! :)
Patrick, you seem… bitter. Anyways, thanks for the compliment. The picture in the Colophon header is M.C. Escher’s “Möbius Strip II.” If you recall, it had inspired the logo that previously adorned this site, and since it didn’t exactly work with the new design, I decided I’d let the idea of it live on through Escher’s artwork.

Hey Adam,
I’m not bitter. ;) Just a quick change with no warning and all. Like I said though, looks nice. The most important thing is that you do what you like, as I said on my blog. :)
I know that it is a strip, but I wasn’t sure what your motivation was for the ants and what went into that, etc. :)

Adam:
You’re quite the photographer and designer - you have a keen eye for design and use it well. Keep up the good work.
Adam Polselli 5/4/04 21h
Patrick… sorry about the quick change! I thought people would enjoy it, and was actually surprised to see people missing a site that I had only posted at a handful of times over the past few months.
Steve, thanks so much for the compliment. I truly appreciate your kindness and motivation. :)
Patrick 5/4/04 21h
No problem, Adam. I actually really like the look. Its quite nice.
So, are you going to share the motivation behind those ants of not? :) Just a creative idea that popped into your head?
Adam Polselli 5/4/04 22h
Patrick… see the last Q&A in the Colophon. Then reread my first comment in this entry. Now do you get it?
Patrick 5/5/04 11h
I realize it is a Mobius Strip and have known that for a long time. :) I was just talking about the ants on it. So, you are saying that they are just a random experimentation?
Adam Polselli 5/5/04 15h
I didn’t put the ants there. Escher did.
Patrick 5/5/04 17h
Oh, I see. See, I’ve never actually looked at that photo. Just was aware of the strip itself. Wish you would have told me that instead of sending me on a fact finding mission. :) But, thanks… I understand now.
Seriously, though, you’ve reminded me that I want to post pictures on my blog … and I eventually will.
Thanks.

hey, nice job!
could we get some technical details about the pictures maybe? f-stop, shutter speed, lens, filter, etc.?
again, good job!
