Fish for Dinner

I can’t wait to see Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11 and The Corporation, a documentary that has been referred to as “the next Bowling for Columbine.” I saw a trailer for it when I saw the highly entertaining, but seemingly overexaggerated, Super Size Me. Documentaries really seem to be hitting it big lately.

Nice color scheme, I might be need some quick inspiration soon, so this one might come in handy. I love yellow.

Might I suggest a thing or two.

1. I noticed that user details aren’t remembered when asked. I assume you use the default MT code? It has something to do with the coockie being set for a folder and not the whole domain. I had the same problem. This is where I found the solution: http://www.neilturner.me.uk/2004/Feb/07/cure_for_amnesia.html

2. You’re using the redirect script from MT wich, in a way prevents someone from seeing the commentors adress in the status bar. There’s a plug-in that puts the URL in the title of the link, so a user still can see where he’s going.. I personally like to know where I going. http://www.mojombo.com/archives/000035.html

Keep up the great photography!

Hey, thanks for the helpful links! Both of those issues have bugged me recently, and it’s great to see that there are solutions.

As for #1, I’ve got the cookies working now. And as for #2, I couldn’t get the plugin to work. Installation is only a couple steps, so I’m not sure where I’m messing up, but it just doesn’t want to work. I uploaded the plugin file, I changed my mt.cfg file, and I rebuilt my pages. Nothing. Ah well… I hear this problem is fixed in MT 3.0.

Thanks again, sken!

Nice detail in the photo; depth of field works well, and since I’m generally a fan of contrast, it gives this photo a leg up with me.

In regards to the “documentaries” you mentioned on the left, be strong, Adam – America is in love with propaganda and will put forth anything, whether even remotely true or not. Michael Moore’s work is trash, and makes Hollywood look like a bunch of right-wing zealots. :)

Hi, I was wondering if you had any recomendations for a simple freeware program to mix or harmonize colors? This seemed intersting http://www.easyrgb.com/harmonies.php
but I haven’t seen much else. Thanks for your great tips on the “Get It” page.
