Tomorrow morning I leave for a brief, up-north hiatus. I think it’ll be good to get away from the computer for a few days. I’ll return sometime Wedndesday afternoon, hopefully with a digital camera full of pictures. I haven’t had a photo opp like this in quite a while, so I’m looking forward to it!
By the way, if I had MT 3.1, I’d be able to schedule entries to be posted while I’m away. How cool!

Realizing this wasn’t a set shot – I probably would have set up a follow-up.
Picture this: The Girl, Piglet, and Bunny sitting on the edge of the Dock.
Just a thought.

Stunning, just like the rest of your photos.

RE: set shot
I don’t know, I almost think I like the “tossed away” look more here; if it were contrived I think I would sense it and it would be less “cute”.

Actually, on second thought, maybe I would like the sitting animals. Hmmm, well I guess it’s too late anyway :).

Great Image …
Almost looks like an aligator is coming towards her.

Great shot, I too think there’s an aligator coming, like the composition, with piglet & bunny. And the choice of b&w works well here.
Thanks for sharing

Thanks, everyone. I’m glad you noticed the neglected toys, darragh. They were inspiration for the title. Also, people have been mentioning “a bunny and a Piglet,” but it’s actually two Piglets. In fact, there’s another two that you can’t see… my niece is obsessed!

My favorite photo on the site. Perfect.

I absolutely love this picture!
If say’s it all. Life is a question of what’s and why’s and this picture signifies that sometimes little things can consume us and we disregard other things around us even our most significant belongings.
