Just ordered the iCurve and Apple wireless keyboard for my Powerbook. I already have the wireless mouse, and figured I’d get the other two so that I have the perfect setup when I move into my dorm room on August 31st. The wireless keyboard should make it much easier for me to type all of my papers… ech!

Sounds cool! I just ordered some new headphones and a car holder for my new 40 GB iPod. Just getting those final things before college. Since I have the 15″ PB, I’m pretty satisfied with the keyboard and already bought an external Mac mouse. Enjoy the iCurve!

Why is there a Norwegian flag on that boat? You’re American, right? And I’m Norwegian – and curious.

Also, you take great pictures. And you’re part of the reason why a macro lens is the next thing I want to get for my 300D.

Your setup will be great, especially in a new dorm. I’m moving into a new room myself, oh and I promise I wont go over my new setup that comes on the 8th of Sep, it will only make you cry again :)

The iCurve is one of the greatest products I own. Simple, yet totally functional and quite beautiful, to boot.

It does look very nice. If I ever get around to getting myself an iBook (or maybe a Powerbook) then this will definately be a surefire purchase not long after…

Travholt, I took this photo while aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship, therefore they had many flags, most likely representing their international status. Best of luck getting a macro lens! You’ll enjoy it so much.

Ah, that explains it, I guess. I’m not sure if Royal Caribbean is purely Norwegian, but I know that every officer on board their ships is from Norway (or so it says on their web site). And coincidentally, I have done the design of a book about one of their captains.

Adam, Travholt, anyone else:

As a matter of Maritime Law, ship fly the flag of their port of registry, or the company’s registry.
I don’t know all the details, but vessels may fly flags of other nations, or nations in whose waters they sail, lower on the staff.
There is a whole Code of ensigns, colors, weather flags, and other signals which may be flown from the ship’s mast, or stay-lines (as-in the photo).
For some special occasions, e.g. the vessel is hosting royalty of another nation, some variations may be permitted.
