Sitting In The Grass

One week of classes is officially out of the way. It feels good, and after another week I’m sure I’ll feel that I’m in the swing of things. My friends and I went out last night for “Thirsty Thursday,” as they were calling it. It was great fun, and now that the weekend is here, things will only get crazier! Thankfully I don’t have too much homework, so I’m not stressing quite yet. Go Blue!

Hey Adam, I like the frosty grass here. Did you use Desaturate, Channel Mixing, Calculations, or Lab Color B&W conversion? Or some other fancy trick? The grass effect is very cool.

Here are a few more places you should check out which I forgot to mention:

Museum of Natural History – surprisingly cool (near the central campus gym)

The Rock – at the corner of Washtenaw and Hill Street

Gallup Park – You can get there by walking behind the Hospital, and down the path along the River (it is 5 miles, at least), or walk down to the bottom of the Arboretum, then across the Railroad tracks to the pathway, and then down along the river, or you can drive, but thats no fun.

Dexter Cider Mill – If you get a chance, go during the fall with some friends. They have fresh made Apple Cider and Apple-Cinnimon donuts. It is about a 20-30 minute ride outside of Ann Arbor, but really not bad at all.

Village Corner – This store has been around since the 60′s.

Anthony’s Pizza – Order a Deep Dish Pie with some friends. You won’t regret it. Probably some of the best pizza ever. So thick one slice is a meal.

When you are walking around town you will see that Borders is in the center of central campus. However, what nobody will tell you is that the original and first borders store was located where Steve and Barrys T-Shirt store is located on State Street.

Make sure to go to a show at the Michigan Theater. It is old, but was remodeled and impoved several years ago, and it is awesome.

Michigan Stadium. Go on an off day and you should be able to walk around inside the stadium to take pictures.

I grew up in Ann Arbor, and my father is chairman of one of the university departments, so if you need some local contacts let me know.

Cut Adam a break… he’s busy being a college freshmen. I’ll just be glad if we hear from him by Thanksgiving. =)

It doesn’t take that long to simply swing by your laptop and update this thing already. I’m a senior in college and I still make time for everything.

I am a college freshman at the University of Utah, taking 16 credit hours, working a full time job, running a web design business on the side with high profile clients and I have PLENTY of time to do stuff . . . but hey if Adam doesn’t update, oh well . . . just look at one new image from the archive each day ;)

I happen to know that Adam has a break from school next Monday and Tuesday. If he doesn’t update the site by next Wednesday I am going to have to pay a visit to campus.

Adam on Oct 12th 04

Yeah, this site blows now . . .

Way to lose your fan base!

I just happened to be a silent, but regular observer of this site so far. I really love this place. I learned here, and got some inspiration as well, which I did not thank yet, so hereby I do now. But I promise I do not come anymore if there is no more new pics, and updates.
Pleeeease …

PS: And I migth consider writing bitchy postings, if all else fails ;-)
