I love the clean and crisp design of ‘hicksdesign’, but ‘binary bonsai’ is a little too plain and boring to me. It has nothing to make it stand out, and the logo is horrible..

Apart from your Green menu bar (sorry, I just don’t think it goes with anything else on the site) I’ve always loved your site design. I’m all for you making tweaks (it keeps things fresh after all), but please try not to make it too Minimalistic. You’ve got a great design here, it’d be a shame to see it spoilt. :)

I think your site is perfect for it’s purpose. But do with it what you will, I’m sure I’ll like it just as much.

Perhaps you’ll want to desaturate the rest of the design a little bit so that the photo stands out more? Either way, I love what you have now, so I bet you’ll do even better on your site’s next incarnation.

The green menu bar is what makes this site great! Well, it makes the design unique. An unusual combination of colors that come together beautifully.

yeah get rid of the horid pink and green at the top. make it clean…. it’ll show off your photos far more effectively and eradicate the clashes with some of your more colourful stuff.

I guess I’m the only curious one - but

when do we get to see the guy behind the amazing photography? I suppose it’s not a very artistic thing to take a picture of one’s self, but I’m just that curious.

The only time i’ve seen a pic of you has been a tiny little thing on SitePoint - we wanna see the man behind the pics ;-)

I think though that it’s something we all go through. “how the hell do we make this(whatever we own) better than it was before?”
