Who can tell me why this photograph is different than every other photograph that I have posted before now? Can’t figure it out? Well, here’s the answer: this one was taken with the camera on my new Motorola cellphone. With a resolution of 640×480, the images that the phone takes are more than big enough for the site. I’ll never be without a camera again!

Congratulations on your new phone, is it one of those v600?
Anyways, the picture isn’t that bad for a cell phone.
Happy Holidays!

Congrats on the new cell phone, I was looking at the Motorola v710 (IIRC), but ended up with the more affordable LG VX6000 camera phone. I should play around with my settings to shoot higher-res pics as I know mine can do 640×480, too.
Still, that is a remarkably good picture for a camera phone! You going to setup a moblog at TextAmerica.com? Those are fun, I already did.
Also, Adam, happy holidays and get in touch with me! I don’t you on AIM *at all* and wonder if you changed names or something.

Congrats on the new cell phone. I haven’t jumped on the cam phone bandwagon just yet. I don’t really see the purpose to own one.
The picture doesn’t look as sharp I think.

It’s true the quality isn’t quite there, but the convenience more than makes up for it. So long as it doesn’t deter Adam from using a proper camera as normal it can only mean one thing for the site: More photos.
I used to watch Brum religiously as a kid. It was one of my favourite shows. Ahh the memories…

Vincent, you’re right, the picture is not as sharp as one might hope, but I think there are two reasons: 1) I was holding the phone very close to the object, and I’m sure the camera wasn’t designed for a shot like this (you can tell by the fish-eye effect that I got), and 2) it was night, and I was in a poorly lit room – camera phones usually lose quality when it is dark, as I experienced with my previous cam phone. Anyways, I’ll see if I can get some clearer shots!

Adam… are you calling my room poorly lit? Addy was a little shocked to see a picture of her new toy car’s remote control on your website. :-)
