Pool Chair

Apple, thou art so convincing. I always thought that flash-based MP3 players were so lame, but the marketing of the new iPod shuffle was more than enough to prove to me that it’s actually a very handy product. The useful accessories, direct-to-computer connection, and file storage capabilities all persuaded me to order my own. Here’s to being the first kid at UofM toting one!

Congratulations!
I’ll order the Mac mini & iPod shuffle soon.

I agree with you, the marketing on the shuffle is certainly apple-like. Making it’s biggest flaw, one of it’s coolest habilities.

Wow – that looks quite cool. Don’t you already have a regular iPod?

Yep, I’ve got an iPod that is about a year and a half or two years old. It’s kind of nearing the end of its life – the battery doesn’t last very long anymore. I was close to buying a new iPod using some Christmas money, but I was waiting until today to see if Apple came out with anything that appealed to me more than another iPod… and they did! Not to mention I saved $150 – woo!

Adam, you could try resetting (reformatting) your old iPod. For some reason that seems to restore the battery somewhat.

Congrats on the new iPod Adam. I picked up one a few months ago and haven’t regretted my purchase yet! :)

I’m checking into the new Mac mini at the moment. Who knows, I might just end up going into debt and getting myself one!

Update: Mac mini is too mini from my perspective… It only boasts a single G4 processor… Personally I could never go to a single G4 processor after experiencing a PowerMac dual G4. A G5 might have tempted me further, but not a slower, less powerful system.

hey adam, you might want to check this out for your ipod

My ipod mini is still too new to trade in for a new one… However, I do keep going back to the product info page for the Ipod Shuffle… Damn Apple always make you want the newest product/update.

I think Apple’s new products will be a smash hit. I’m excited to see what the future holds for Apple and OS X — so many people could benefit by ditching Windows. :)

Adam — please e-mail (marc[at]sports-central.org] or IM me ASAP. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to reply to an e-mail; trying to get in touch with you again is getting on my nerves. I’d like to talk to you about some design things. Thanks. :)

This Mac Mini (which i think they should have named miniMac) is a great product. I think they’re gonna steel a lot of Windowsers who are thinking “maybe I should by a Mac” — couse it is so cheap. But 256 MB RAM is a little cheap though, especially for Mac. And if you wanna boost it up you’ll have to pay almost the double prize.

Oh, and btw. I ordered a Shuffle too. :P

I most of all like the Mac Mini. But it doesn’t have a floppy drive :-(
*g*

The keynote was just brilliant, especially with the different stings towards Microsoft. “We seem to have a bug here.” Yeah right hehehe.

Very nice contrast on the picture Adam. The light on the arm of the chair and then the shadow of the tube-thingy.

I have an older generation iPod. Not the click wheel, but investing in an iPod Shuffle to “replace” the iPod that I have now would be kind of useless. I have a lot of music, but I’ve got 15GB.
