The 20-inch Apple display that I ordered last week finally got here on Monday. It has been an absolute joy to use, especially compared to the 12-inch, duller display that graces my PowerBook.
This shot was taken in U of M’s Rackham Hall.

You go to U of M? I’m originally from Lansing, and had a lot of friends who went to U of M. I won’t hold it against you though ; )

20″ monitor is definitely the way to go. I work with one those babies at my job.
I hear you about the 12″ Powerbook. My next purchase will be a 15″ one.

Great Pic. I opened the picture in a window that was about 4 inches tall and I had to scroll the pic to see it all. What a great effect it has. Looks like it grows and shrinks.

Welcome to the club! I got my 20″ cinema earlier this spring and it’s such a huge improvement over the duller and sometimes uneven 15″ Powerbook. The cinema’s whites make the Powerbook’s whites look gray! And when you combine it with an iCurve, you have a nice dual-monitor setup.
Adam, did you get my e-mails? I see it to your AP.com e-mail and never heard back…

Does the resolution on the monitor go to the 12″ resolution (1024×768)? Or can you set it to its highest available resolution?
I am thinking about getting a 15″ PowerBook and an Apple monitor which is why I ask.

You can use a higher resolution on the external screen, or use both screens with different resolutions on each one. I’ve got a 12″ hooked up to a 17″ running at 1280×1024.
Nice photo, Adam!

I like the way the reflection almost looks like an oil painting. Nice shot Adam. :-)

First of all, your photography is still up to its usual standards.
I haven’t checked this site in a while and only now have seen your redesign. It’s looking good, and I hope you figured out whatever it was you ahd to.
Good work Adam :)
