Yesterday, I spotted this little guy scuttling around this beautifully illuminated leaf, so I hurried into position to get a shot. His movements were so manic, it took about a dozen tries to get a sharp, well-composed shot. Here it is.

I love the detail and the color in the shot. Everything is vibrant. The light is perfect. The ant silhouette is a great find and so is that hole in the leaf.
