Bike culture in Amsterdam When I was in Amsterdam earlier this month, this is one of the things about the city that most caught my attention. So many bikers! It was fantastic. And many of them were professionally dressed businessmen and women. I swear, I even saw bike traffic. Instead of bumper-to-bumper, it was wheel-to-wheel.

I can say the same about Paris. They have a neat system where you can rent a bike by either purchasing a monthly pass or on a to-go basis and after you’re finish with it, you can drop it off at one of the so many locations where they have them available.
