		<description>It&#039;s also helpful to meditate on the massive progress that scientific discovery has afforded us. Just think about life 100 or 200 years ago. In many ways, America would be unfamiliar. No cars, no radio, no TV, no computers, limited electricity, we had never left the atmosphere, we had never explored the deep ocean, and on top of all that, life expectancy was 50. I think that is not just unfamiliar, but unrecognizable.
