17.24 million tune in to Disney’s High School Musical 2 This crowns HSM2 as the most-watched basic cable telecast ever. Of all time. In the history of television. I was 19 when the first one came out in January of 2006 and I loved it, cheese and all. The talent of the young cast cannot be denied, and the film is refreshingly lacking in overt sexuality and violence. I haven’t had a chance to catch HSM2 yet, but I look forward to seeing how it turned out. With the success of the second, and studios’ ever increasing love of the sequel, it is almost guaranteed that a High School Musical 3 will air sometime in 2008.
Trailer for Be Kind Rewind Check out the trailer for the latest work from genius director Michel Gondry. Starring Jack Black and Mos Def, it’s about two video store clerks who find that all of their tapes have been erased and, therefore, use home video equipment to remake such classics as Ghostbusters and 2001: A Space Odyssey by themselves. Looks great.
Brilliant All of it. The new iMac and keyboard are the epitome of sleek. I love the new feature in iPhoto that allows you to hide photos. I’m always wanting to put aside the photos that I want to have but don’t necessarily want to work with or upload to the net. Their website just gets better and better as well.

“Don’t Stop the Music” Rihanna’s new music video for her latest single was shot in Prague at a place called Radost FX, a club we frequent that is about a 10 minute walk from our dorm. Thought it was pretty cool that one of the hottest international pop artists chose it for her latest promo.
No End In Sight A new film about America’s involvement in Iraq the past six years. I was wondering when somebody was going to make this film. Didn’t even know it was in production. Comes out July 27th, 2007.
