Step 1 Evaluation

After receiving your email, I evaluate your project to make sure it’s a good fit. If it is, we communicate until I know the exact details of your goals and needs.

Step 2 Project Proposal

Having figured out the ins and outs of your project, I formulate a proposal. The project proposal includes a quote and specifies the project timeline. Should you agree to the proposal, work begins.

Step 3 Initial Design

This is where the fun begins. Applying everything I’ve learned about your project goals, I create the first design, typically a static Photoshop file.

Step 4 You Give Feedback, I Refine

You check out the initial design and provide feedback, including what you like, dislike, and would like to see changed. Using your feedback, I refine the initial design, which completes one round of refinements. To ensure that this step does not continue on indefinitely, a maximum number of refinement rounds will be determined in the proposal, according to your budget.

Step 5 The Working Website

Once the final design is completed, it's time for me to start coding. If you've hired me to integrate your site with a CMS (content management system), such as ExpressionEngine, that also occurs at this stage.

Step 6 Finalize the Project

Both you and I assess the project to ensure completion and that everything is in working order. And that’s it! We shake hands and say, “Until next time.”
